Bebop

Bebop is a recurring villainous character in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. Formerly a common criminal thug in New York City, he and his partner-in-crime Rocksteady would be recruited into the Foot Clan by the Shredder and subjected to mutation. Bebop's DNA was mutated with that of a warthog, granting him superhuman strength.

Though Bebop's mutation granted him the strength to battle the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, his complete lack of skill or intelligence prevented him from ever getting the better of them.

Appearance[]

Bebop appears to be a masculine anthropomorphic warthog with brown fur covering his body. He wears his hair in a mohawk style trailing off into a short ponytail at the back which is dyed purple. His usual apparel consists of a torn red sleeveless jacket, black jeans and red hi-top shoes. He also wears purple goggles with slits, chains on his waist and left wrist, a studded wristband on his right arm, a bandoleer with numerous bullets and shoulder pads that resemble turtle shells.

Personality[]

Bebop is a brutish, violent thug. However, he is also stupid and utterly incompetent; whatever task the Shredder gives him, he always seems to fail. He is best friends with Rocksteady and the two of them were always together even before joining the Foot Clan.

Abilities and skills[]

Bebop possesses strength superior to average human beings and has been known to use guns and blunt-force weaponry. Due to his stupidity, he is not very skilled in combat or any other tasks.
