Battleship

The Battleship is a type of Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts. It appears to be a humanoid Heartless controlling a flying galleon, but in fact, the "captain" and the ship are actually both one single creature; the captain is actually the Battleship's head.

The Battleship's body appears as a small, ornate boat with a skeletal prow and figurehead at the front and metal oars extending from its sides. It sports a black sail emblazoned with a Heartless emblem, a cannon on each side, and flies with the propellers upon the mast and stern.

Battleships appear in Neverland and in the Hercules and Hades Cups at Olympus Coliseum. They typically fly in a circular formation and will attack either by ramming Sora or by firing their cannons. The cannon projectiles are launched into the air and will home in on Sora.

To defeat Battleships, Sora will need to fly or glide to pursue them (abilities he will gain after meeting Peter Pan in Neverland). Battleships only take minor to average damage from spells, so physical attacks will be preferable. While Battleships have a high amount of HP, their threat can be reduced by attacking particular parts. Destroying their sails will limit their maneauverability and destroying their cannons will take away their firepower and limit them to ramming attacks only.
