Babette was a member of the Tribes of the Moon who appeared in Clive Barker’s 1990 fantasy-horror movie Nightbreed.

Born of Rachel, a woman who could dissolve her physical body into an insidious mist, and an unnamed and absent father, Babette seemed like a regular girl of 8 or 9, but had the ability to change her form into an odd-looking animal, although this ability seemed to be more instinctual than an act of will. She was also one of the ’Breed who was highly susceptible to daylight.
History[]
When Lori came looking for her missing boyfriend Aaron Boone in the cemetery of Midian, she encountered Babette, who had been caught outside in the sunshine. Taking the girl, who was in her animalistic state, to her mother, the pair were so grateful that they allowed Lori to discover the secret existence of the Tribes of the Moon, and guided her in search of Boone.
Babette was one of the survivors after the Sons of the Free attacked and destroyed Midian.
