A Babaroga is a type of monstrous hag from Balkans mythology and folklore.
Babaroga acts much like a bogeyman figure via traveling from home to home performing feats of horrific child cruelty; sometimes she will simply scare them, other times she will stuff them in a sack to eat them in her cave and in other cases she will abduct them via pulling them through tiny holes in the ceiling, resulting in a gruesome demise.
