Azusa Aizawa is the main protagonist of the Isekai fantasy slice of life light novel and anime series Slime Taoshite 300 nen. She was previously a Japanese human woman who died from overwork until she got reincarnated as an immortal Witch and proceeded to take life easily while killing slimes as a form of income. However, after 300 years, her level becomes maxed out and, consequently, became the most powerful being in the world, drawing the attention from everyone, defying her peaceful life.

Trapped in a relentless cycle of overwork with little time for herself, the toll eventually proved fatal—she collapsed from exhaustion and died. Upon awakening, she found herself before an Angel, who, moved by the hardship of Azusa’s short life, offered her the chance at a new beginning filled with genuine happiness. The Angel granted her the opportunity to make a wish to shape her next life.
Reborn as an immortal witch in the quiet mountains near the rural town of Flatta, Azusa chose to live the next three centuries in peace, spending her days leisurely hunting slimes and crafting potions, far from the pressures of her former life.

She has long, blonde hair, part of which is styled into a braid that wraps around her head, along with striking blue eyes. Her typical attire is her witch outfit, which includes a classic pointed hat, a black coat layered over a white blouse with a yellow cravat, and a dark blue skirt.
Depending on the occasion, Azusa changes her clothes to suit the setting—for example, she wore a formal dress while attending a Red Dragon wedding—but she usually sticks to her signature witch ensemble.

Azusa is generally characterized as a laid-back and carefree individual, taking things at her own pace and encouraging others to do the same. Largely as a result of her death by overwork in her previous life, she's averse to demanding work, having spent most of her life killing slimes. On the other hand, she still recognizes the importance of completing it, so long as it doesn't corrupt her life ethic.
Additionally, she is also very charitable and hospitable, having befriended and accepted a wide range of different people and species. This includes characters that originally intended to kill her, in the case of Shalsha, and people who used her name to commit fraud. This attitude made her a beloved celebrity in Flatta, where the villagers offer to treat/reward Azusa as thanks for her medicine.
