The Atomic Flounder is a semi-recurrent villain who appears in Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants animated franchise.
Description[]
Essentially an anthropomorphic flatfish, the Atomic Flounder was a well-built humanoid fish when he was younger, who dressed in an outfit resembling a HazMat suit. However, by the time of the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon he is elderly and at least partially retired. In both his youth and later years, he can fire a powerful blast of nuclear breath at anybody who crosses him, capable of burning almost anything to a crisp. He is also an avid book reader, as seen when he joined the ill-fated 'Bad Guys All Together for Books Club.'
