Astro Zombies are creatures that appear in the Nickelodeon animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Description[]
The animated corpses of an unidentified race, the Astro Zombies appeared as desiccated husks clad in futuristic space suits. They had an extremely aggressive nature and their limbs were capable of independent movement even after separation from the main body.
History[]
When the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, April O'Neil and Casey Jones investigate a derelict spacecraft, at first glance the ship appears to be deserted. However, when Casey complains that this is too boring and wishes for something interesting to happen, the Wyrm, who was imprisoned in a nearby Hypercube, grants him his wish and summons a horde of Astro Zombies. The group are then forced to fight their way through countless enemies before escaping back to the Ulixes.
