Astraeus was one of the Titans of Greek mythology, colossal giants of incredible power whose origins lie in the time before the coming of the Olympian gods.
Description[]
The Titan god of the dusk (and perhaps the four winds), Astraeus was of the second generation of Titans, his father being the first-generation Crius. Little is known of him, other than that he fittingly married his cousin Eos who was the Titan goddess of the dawn, and thus had much in common with him. Together the two had many children who bore aspects relating to the events of twilight and the night.
