The Ashwinder is a serpentine creature that appears in J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. It is formed when a magical fire is allowed to burn freely for a long time. A thin, light gray snake, with gleaming eyes, will emerge from the embers of this fire and crawl into the shadows of the dwelling it is in, leaving a trail of ashes behind it.
