Angel Star

The Angel Star is a type of Emblem Heartless that appears in Kingdom Hearts. It is a peculiar-looking creature with a conical white head sporting three beady eyes, a glass body resembling a bell or a lightbulb, and flies on four segmented wings. Within the creature's body is a filament that resembles the jagged mouthline common among the Heartless.

Angel Stars are encountered at the End of the World and in the Hades Cup event in Olympus Coliseum. Though their bodies appear to be made of glass, they are far from weak; they have high defense and can also shield themselves with their wings, becoming invulnerable to attack.

To attack, Angel Stars cast three different spells which can be determined by what color they glow when they are preparing to cast. When they glow blue, they will cast a ball of light that erupts into a pillar of energy when it hits the ground and may spawn a new Angel Star. If they glow pink, they will produce a powerful tornado-like spell that will follow Sora and inflict heavy damage. Finally, a white glow indicates that an Angel Star will attack with bolts of lightning. These lightning bolts are difficult to predict, but they can be reflected back at the Angel Star with a well-timed Guard and will cause damage to it, unlike Soa's own Thunder magic. The time when they are charging their spells is when they are most vulnerable to attack, though they have high magical defense and are immune to Thunder spells, so physical attacks with the Keyblade are the best bet for defeating them.
