Agumon is a Child-level Reptile Digimon. It is a small, bipedal creature resembling an infant Tyrannosaurus rex. It has scaly orange skin covering its whole body, a pair of bright green eyes, and three clawed digits on each hand and foot. It also sports a short, stubby tail. Its head and snout are disproportionately large, equal in size to the rest of its body.
Agumon is a noble Vaccine-class Digimon with an indomitable fighting spirit, though it has yet to fully mature and reach its true potential. While it has yet to realise its true strength, it is utterly fearless and will whatever it can to defend its allies and vanquish its foes.

- Claw Attack - Agumon slashes and jabs with its claws.

- Pepper Breath - Agumon spits a ball of fire from its mouth.
- Cross Fight - Agumon gathers power within its body before unleashing a series of bites and slashes.
- Wildfire Uppercut - A flaming uppercut attack.
- Dynamite Kick - A rapid flurry of midair kicks.
- Final Claw - After sending an opponent into the air, Agumon strikes the falling enemy with one last cross-slash with its claws.

Variants[]
There are several variants of Agumon - alternate forms brought about by different methods of digivolution - which are described below.
Black Agumon[]
This version of Agumon is essentially the same as the regular Agumon species in terms of ability; the most noteworthy difference being its skin colour, which is an ashen black instead of the standard light orange. Black Agumon is the result of a Baby Digimon growing up in a harsh environment or being mistreated, leading to it developing a Virus Attribute. Because of this, Black Agumon is more aggressive than its Vaccine counterpart.

X-Antibody[]
When imbued with the X-Antibody, Agumon transforms into a Dinosaur-type Digimon closely resembling Greymon, but without the signature helmet covering its head. As well as increasing in size, it develops several blue lines on its limbs resembling scars and its claws take on a metallic sheen. While Agumon becomes stronger and more ferocious in this state, it is still a Vaccine type and fights with heroic fervor. Its abilities are largely the same as before, but now it can use the ability Baby Burner, in which it accumulates several fireballs within its mouth before spewing them all out at once in a destructive torrent.
Burst Mode[]

Little information exists on this variant, but supposedly Burst Mode occurs when Agumon shares an extraordinarily powerful bond with a human partner. Upon achieving Burst Mode, Agumon grows in size and exudes an awesome DigiSoul aura. In this state, Agumon gains the power of flight and the straps on its arms become reins that allow its human partner to ride it.
Bushi Agumon[]
An Agumon that has styled itself after a samurai. It wears a black and grey hakama adorned with a crest that marks it as a 'super-swordsman'. It wields a tantō, a Japanese short sword, as its weapon.
A self-styled ronin, BushiAgumon wanders the Digital World in search of worthy causes to dedicate its sword to. Driven by a strong sense of justice and honour, it will not back down in the face of evil.
