You see about monsters is huggy Wuggy a gigantic monstrous version of mascot and Bunzo bunny monster version of same name catnap monstrous version?
I had read it on Wikipedia not so long ago, in June of this year:
I don't know if you know of a Norse creature or something (but I remember reading about it and looking for images, there was only one fanart in traditional from a girl who imagined it that way) that had wings and scales on its skin, it was also said that it could serve as a soldier in battle, it was semi-humanoid and it was male.
excuse me? Mimics are not possessed objects! They are creatures that shapeshift to mimic objects. BTW, magicking something to life is called "Animation". And Huggy Wuggy is a genetically engineered being, not a possessed toy.
"MutantCharacter"? Please use pre-established information boxes and don't create new ones willy nilly.

Well, it finally happened - after some discussions with Devo we both agreed upon the removal of the Badge System from this wiki.
The Badge System has been quite controversial for some time and while fun for some users was ultimately dividing the community and leaving it open to bad faith edits, unnecessary conflict and general bickering.
With the removal of the Badge System some of the less popular rules can be removed or relaxed, which will liberate many new users and veteran users alike.
For many of us in the community the Leaderboard was never really a big deal, however for a vocal minority it ruled their days and now that said days are behind us we can focus on growing the wiki and its community.
New editors often had to face a stern warning about edit-counts, which easily discouraged good faith users, going forward we have no real reason for such a rule or warning.
Thus users of all rank and age can contribute freely within the reasonable frame any community would allow - no longer will users have to worry about "too many" edits or "too few" edits.
Users can contribute as little or as much as they may desire (or have time to do so) - please remember some "excessive" edit rules still apply in post-Badge world but are enforced less strictly (for example, as a general rule, users are advised not to simply add one category at a time or make extremely trivial edits, excessive use of such edits can still earn a warning but is no longer grounds for a block unless such acts are repeated after said warnings and disrupt the rest of wiki).
I hope going forward this means we can all have a more enjoyable time on the Monsters Wiki and thank all the users who have contributed here for the right reasons (of which a vast majority of users do).
I am considering removing the Invisible Man page from the wiki as he is arguably not really a monster, just a human with an unusual power. As I have previously argued, I prefer not to include too many powered humans on the wiki unless they also have inhuman appearances (eg. mutants, metahumans, etc.). I want to know what other people's opinions are on the matter. Should the Invisible Man page stay or go?
